A month ago I did this photoshoot behind the scenes with model Autumn Moore and the Prestigefoto Team The shots were stunning, the model looked gorgeous and my clothes were beautiful! Here are the Amazing Images!! Let me know what you think!!

Baby Shower Invites

It's been a full month since the baby shower and I still have yet to show the fun invitations I made :) 

I love being creative so anything that allows me to make things from nothing Im obsessed with! When you take your time to make something with your own hands it means so much more to me, I feel a personal connection with anything I create. So when I found out my cousin was having a little girl I knew I had to make the invitations. I know one day in the far away future she will look back and love that her baby shower invites were handmade just for her and that thought puts the biggest smile on my face. + my cousin is my awesome assistant and I would do anything for her because she helps me sooo much!!! ♥

Behind The Scenes

A few weeks ago I did a Photoshoot with an amazing photography team-Prestigefoto and a super cute model who is new to california- Autumn Moore. We shot in Oceanside, Ca at the Beach which is actually my hometown and where I still currently reside.

We did the ad campaign shoot with 2 of my clutches which will be released soon on my Etsy :)

The clothes we shot were from my Summer 11 Collection. While shooting one outfit we had the most horrible heckler trash talking my model. I dislike negativity so I said to the lady "Its fine your a hater, but if this professional shoot is bothering you so much just walk away"

I dont understand why she had to bash my model because her boyfriend was standing where we were shooting. She obviously has unhappiness in her heart and I hope she figures that out soon.

May*Star's Fashion Whore

Maystar is the go to fashion girl. She throws these dance party/fashion shows on the first saturday of every month in San Diego at the Ruby Room. Its a super fun time with the most incredible indie designers showcasing their work.

I had been hearing about these parties and seeing my peers participating, I couldn't wait to get my chance to be a part of the runway show!

I had finally worked up the nerve to ask her if she was still looking for designers and was committed to do anything I could to be apart of the show on July 2nd.

I had the most amazing expierence and would love to do it again!!!

Its been super busy around here!! Leo Lynn is going to be in a Fashion Show on July 2nd as well as a photoshoot for my clutches to start an ad campaign!

Among all the mayhem in making some new pieces: clothing and clutches: for the runway show, Im doing a few things for my assistant/cousin's baby shower, and I decided I hated my studio and wanted to move all but 2 pieces of furniture around.

After the baby shower on the 26th Ill post the invites, favors, and cake Im making.. but mom-to-be reads this so I can't give anything away!!

I am so glad I changed my studio around! It magically seems bigger!! So much working space!!

I AM IN LOVE!

I am always, always researching the web for inspiration in any form, or to learn something new. I kept hearing about this pinterest website... and when I finally checked it out I was ADDICTED! I waited impatiently to get my very own url.. and once I got that email, I have spent every free chance looking thru all the wonderful images already pinned. Trying to Stay Positive.

Wow. The last 2 days have been unimaginable in the worst kind of way.

 First I come into work Wednesday Morning to find out someone overheard something I said and took it in the most negative way possible and twisted the story and told the boss... I got yelled at. Bad. She threatened to fire me, but the only thing that made me upset, she never gave me a chance to explain what I had said. I never would say anything bad about another crafters work. Its amazing creating something from nothing why would I put that down?! As someone who sews, draws, and does all kinds of crafts in general. I know how much work gets put into it. I respect each and every person who channels their energy into something creative.

Second I find out someone got my bank card number and had been trying to charge ridiculous amounts of money at random places in OHIO! (I live in Southern California) WHAT!!?? my thoughts exactly... so as Im finding this information out I was driving and BAM!!! Something just hit my windshield.. it was so loud I screamed in the poor guys ear :(  then I notice... spiderwebb crack bad! man..

Thursday Morning I wake up and see how bad the crack is spreading and decide I need to replace it. I call around and find the cheapest place and got the windshield ordered so friday morning I can get a new windshield and leave wednesday behind me! I go to happy hour to have a good time and after that I stopped by a friends house, there an hour at the most and came out to my car to only find it had been broken into. :(

I had to get my passenger side window replaced, I will get my windshield replaced in 2 weeks, I have a new bank card ordered. (and Ive learned not to say too much at work)

I am thankful I got everything taking care of, now time to move forward. :)  The devil is really trying to bring me down because something great is around the corner. so keep throwing things at me I will win I got big guns upstairs on my side.
