Diamond Dust

This post has been 3 years in the making.

For a few months MayStar's Fashion Whore was located at a new bar/club called Kitty Diamond, the fashion show was dubbed "Diamond Dust."

I was one of the designers for the grand opening which was more like a soft opening because the venue was still under construction. The room where the makeup was being done was down in a basement type setting and HOT! I was 4 months pregnant with my first at the time so I went down there once, explained the look I was going for to all the Makeup artist and hair stylists and ran back up to the air condition! I had 15 looks but only 5 girls showed up :( I hate when people make commitments and don't follow through, or give you any kind of notice ahead of time... But we all know there are a lot of flakes in this industry so lets move on.

These GIRLS made my dresses look amazing. I am lucky to have made some wonderful friends who are willing to participate in the tornado that is the maystars fashion shows. I am sure if you follow me on facebook or instagram have probably already seen some or all of these pictures.

Getting back into the swing of things.

It's been years since I've actually posted something, and there are so many things that are new in my world. I am actually able to type this while my 2 year old is miraculously napping (which never happens as of lately) and my 6 month old twins are occupied with tons of tummy time toys. That's right, You read that correctly. 3 Boys under 3. As women and men alike say when they see me with all 3, "wow, you have your hands full" I definitely do, but you know what I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the crazy hectic world I am in and can't wait as the future unfolds.

Lately, I've been craving to write. Ive never considered myself a writer but I love to document my experiences and what better way than to write out my emotions as they happen. There's many ups and downs during this Journey as a Designer and Mom. I have so much to say. I have many unpublished posts just waiting for pictures to be added. I am in the process of updating all of Leo Lynn's Social Media pages. I hope you stay along for the ride.
